From June 30, 2019 to August 30, 2019, we invite you to discover a design apartment of the 50s is reconstituted on the first floor of a building without individual or immediate assignment (ISAI), designed by the Perret workshop from 1946.

This apartment allows to discover the facilities proposed by the workshop to relocate the inhabitants in the aftermath of the war: double orientation, optimal sunshine, integrated kitchen and bathroom, garbage chute, central heating with forced air. The furniture chosen refers to the development of the typical apartments presented during the reconstruction (between 1945 and 1955) and intended for the victims of Le Havre.
The Perret test apartment, restored to the original condition, is in accordance with the plans and layout presented by Auguste Perret in Paris in 1947 and then in Le Havre in 1949. Aside from the identical reconstruction work, a real investigation was conducted. reconstructed interiors have not been the subject of a specific study.
